Delivery Information

At Furnituretoday, we are extremely proud of our Delivery Services. We use two methods of delivery, both intended to make receiving your order as simple as possible.

We are happy to offer a Premier Two-Man Delivery Service as standard, at a cost of £36 to anywhere in England, Scotland and Wales. Deliveries to some Scottish Highland postcodes will incur an additional surcharge*. Some smaller items and small orders will be sent by parcel courier.

Premier Two-Man Delivery Service
You will be advised by email when your order is ready for despatch. Our Customer Support Team will then call to arrange a delivery date with you.

During the early evening prior to the agreed delivery date, the Customer Support Team will call you to advise whether you should expect an AM or PM delivery slot. At this stage, you can also request the delivery driver to call you one hour before they arrive.

Upon delivery, your order will be unloaded and delivered into the room of your choice, providing there is reasonable access for this to take place. All deliveries require a signature from an adult when receiving the order. You will be given a copy of the Delivery Note for your own records.

When you place your order, you may be sent a Delivery Questionnaire. This is sent especially to customers who have orders for large pieces of furniture, and will enable us to determine whether the items you have ordered will be easily delivered into your home.

Courier Delivery Service
Small pieces of furniture, smaller orders and some home assembly items will be delivered by courier. The delivery charge will range from £8, but will not exceed £36.

Once your order has been picked from stock, it will be packaged for delivery to you, and collected by courier. You will receive an email on the day of collection from our Customer Support Team, advising you that delivery will take place the next day. Courier deliveries will take place between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If you are unable to take the delivery on the day allocated, the courier will leave an Attempted Delivery Notification, which will ask you to contact them to rearrange delivery at your earliest convenience. If you have specific days in the week that are more convenient to receive a delivery, please let our Customer Support Team know when your order has been acknowledged, and we will endeavour to deliver on these days, wherever possible. All courier deliveries will require a signature from an adult when receiving the order.

We are currently unable to deliver directly to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, the Scottish Isles or the Channel Islands. However, we can deliver to a nominated UK port, at the normal delivery charge for the area. Further transport and responsibility for the items will belong to the customer from this point onwards. furnituretoday will not be able to accept any responsibility for any damage or loss caused in shipping overseas.

When your order contains items from different ranges, the longest lead time will apply. furnituretoday can offer a part delivery option, where an additional delivery charge will be applied.

How can I place an order?
You can place orders over the internet, by fax, by post or phone.

What is the order process?
Simply browse our online store and click on "ADD TO CART" to any items you wish to order. These items can be removed later if you wish. When you have finished shopping click on the "CHECKOUT" button, which will take you to the order page. Enter your details and credit card information, then send them to us via our secure server. If you prefer, you may also print the order form and send it to us by fax on 01252 783919 or post the order to:

How is my furniture delivered?
Furnituretoday use two methods of delivery. Smaller items and orders will be delivered by Parcel Courier. Our Premier Two Man Delivery Service will deliver all other orders to you for a maximum of £36 in England, Scotland* and Wales. For more information regarding deliveries, please click here.

When will my furniture be delivered?
Lead times for each individual product are shown on the product description, and are constantly monitored for any changes. Should we receive notification of any delays or advance deliveries, you will be updated by e-mail. We can, on occasion, offer part deliveries in certain circumstances, but please be aware that each delivery will be charged until the order is complete.

Payment and Security

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, and also cheques with orders sent in the post.

How safe is it to give my credit card details online?
Furnituretoday use one of the most secure servers and online systems for all credit and debit card payments and we have never had a reported incident involving credit card fraud using this system. We are so confident of our security that we will guarantee any costs that your credit card company hold you responsible for if your card is used fraudulently as a result of shopping with Furnituretoday using our secure transaction system.

What happens if I cancel my order?
An order may be cancelled at any time between the placement of the order and 10 days following delivery of the goods for a full refund. Customers wishing to cancel within 10 days of delivery may take advantage of our 10 Day Money Back Guarantee, providing all goods are returned to us in the same condition they were in at the time of delivery and with their original packaging.

What is your returns policy?
We want you to be completely satisfied with any purchase from Furnituretoday, but in the unlikely event that this is not the case, we can offer a 10 Day Money Back Guarantee, whatever the reason. Goods can be returned within 10 days of delivery for a full refund, provided they are returned with their original packaging.
