How do your prices compare with others?
We firmly believe that our prices are the most competitive around. This is because we import the furniture ourselves, allowing us to offer our customers excellent prices without compromising on quality.
What materials do you use?
Although we specialise in solid oak furniture, we also work with a variety of other materials, including solid walnut, solid pine, metal and glass.
How do I care for my furniture?
For oiled-finished products we advise that you apply teak, linseed or Danish oil within the first three months of receiving the product and then every six months thereafter. For waxed-finished products we recommend you use Pledge with bees wax, while it is wise to apply Pledge to lacquered products.
Does the manufacturing of your products damage the environment?
We aim to be as carbon neutral as possible and all of our wood is sourced from forests that are carefully managed. Furniture Today only sources high-quality wood from sustainable forests and employs a ‘commonsense policy’. The trees we use are replaced with seeds, enabling forests to produce natural materials for us all – both now and in the future.

What is the order process?
Simply browse our online catalogue and click "add to basket" to any items you wish to buy. These items will be saved and can be removed later if you wish. When you have finished shopping, click on the "checkout" button which takes you to the order page. Follow the straightforward, step-by-step checkout process where you will enter your personal information and payment details via our secure server. Alternatively, another popular method is ordering over the phone by calling 0800 0789 616 or 0208 626 9339 where a friendly member of our customer services team is waiting to take your call.
How safe is it to give my credit card details online?
All orders placed online with us are taken and transmitted directly to Sage Pay – our payment gateway – using a secure connection that is verified by VeriSign. We do not store your card details and they cannot be seen by those employed by Furniture Today or Sage Pay. As soon as you place your order, you are automatically redirected to our secure site. What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards via our online secure server and over the phone. If you wish to pay by cheque – personal or business – please phone us first.
Delivery, Returns & After-Sales Service
What are the delivery charges at Furniture Today?
Furniture Today offers a premier, two man delivery service as standard on all items of furniture that are not able to be delivered by overnight courier. Our delivery is FREE for all orders over £350 anywhere within mainland Britain, except AB, IV, PA, PH, KY, DD, TD, HS, FK and KW postcodes where there will be an additional charge which will be advised prior to order confirmation. For orders £350 and under there will be a delivery charge of £35 in addition to those above. If you wish to know what that is before you place the order then please call or e-mail us.
What happens if I cancel my order?
We give you a 14 day period in which you can return your items. Refunds will be issued within 30 days of receipt of returned goods. All items must be returned in a re-saleable condition as good as new. All items must be returned in their original packaging. Items cannot have been assembled as by assembling a product it can be deemed as acceptance of the goods. Items which are not adequately packaged at time of collection may not be collected and a charge of £67.50 plus VAT may be levied to cover cost of failed collection. Where a delivery date has been agreed with our carrier but the customer isn’t present to receive the delivery, we reserve the right to charge the customer a minimum of £67.50 plus VAT to cover part of the cost of the failed delivery. When will my goods arrive?
Most of our smaller items can be sent via a courier and can take up to 48 hours for delivery once despatched. Some of our very large furniture items will be sent via a specialist delivery service and depending upon your location this can take up to 10 working days. You will be advised in advance of the scheduled delivery date.
Do you have an after sales service?

What happens to my personal details?
Your personal details will remain strictly confidential and not passed on to third parties. You have the option to be kept informed of new lines and special offers when placing an order.

Next Day Delivery items will be delivered the following working day providing your order is placed before 11am.
Select Day Delivery
Select Day Delivery items will be delivered on the day you have chosen for delivery between the hours of 8.00am and 7.00pm.
Once you have placed your order you will receive a sms text from our delivery company. They will inform you of the estimated delivery time on the day you have specified for delivery.
Please note: Next day and select day delivery is only available in England and Wales (NOT Scotland, for deliveries to Scotland, standard delivery is available.), it is also unavailable on the weekend. You can view supplementary charges once you add this item to the basket. When NOT selecting next day or day of choice delivery, delivery will revert to the standard lead as shown on the product page.
